Meet our regular contributors Shannon & Paige! Not only can they ROCK a photoshoot (thanks to crazy-talented Meghan Marin for the amazing work) but they have an eye for style and will be taking Roc Girl Gang to the streets. They will be going around to local events and pop-ups representing Roc Girl Gang and taking photos of the best of what our Roc Girls have to offer. So if you see them, be sure to say hi and buy them a coffee! They are some of the nicest gals around and I asked them to introduce themselves. So read on…
My name is Paige Smith and I’ve lived in Rochester all my life. The most lovely thing about this city to me is how much it continues to grow creatively through this inviting and supportive community. The George Eastman Museum gardens, the Lamberton Conservatory and Lower Falls are a few of my favorite local gems. I couldn’t be more excited to be a regular contributor for Roc Girl Gang. We will be encouraging and highlighting the incredible women creators of our community and it will be nothing but a positive platform for us gals.
My name is Shannon Costello and I’m from East Rochester. I’ve lived in different areas of Rochester my whole life. I love Rochester not only because it’s my home but because it’s the place where I’ve grown into the person I am today. Rochester has given so much to me and it’s time to start giving back! The people in Rochester are my favorite. I’m so excited about Roc Girl Gang because I get to be a part of something bigger than myself. I hope that through Roc Girl Gang we can lift up, bring together and grow with fellow creatives. I look forward to meeting and learning all about you other Roc Girls so look for me at local events, I’ll be looking for you!
See!? They’re super nice. And adorable! Be sure to say hello to them the next time you see them… and you will see them, these girls are all over Rochester doing their thing. Thanks again to the incredibly talented Meghan Marin for the AMAZING photos. We can’t get enough of them. Check out her work here too!
