Shop Peppermint will host the Sewn Seeds fashion show on Saturday, March 25 at the Culture Lab, located at 155 Culver Rd (next to Fleet Feet at the Armory) in Rochester. The fifth annual Peppermint Sewn Seeds Runway Show highlights the talents of local designers, makers & stylists. Part of proceeds will benefit Girls Rock! Rochester and Verona Street Animal Society.
Tickets are available HERE.
Tanvi Asher // Shop Peppermint
Mary Ellen Hill // Bespoke Designs
Mary Rockcastle // Look What Mary Made
Few more additions to the show are local makers Mary Ellen Hill and Mary Rockcastle. Ms. Rockcastle's pieces will be lively, offering up a kitschy outlook on pop culture. Ms. Hill will be showcasing a wild collection including coats in wondrously constructed, generous volumes and deconstructed dresses that reaffirmed Mary's articulation of the feminine mystique.
Also returning for this year's event will be designer Josean Vargas, of J. Vargas Designs. Vargas's Rochester dedicated collection will focus on elevating urban wear to high fashion status with its chic, sexy and stylish silhouettes.
Lauren Elizabeth Alberque // Lolita Fashion
A cocktail reception will precede the show at 3:00 PM and the runway show will commence at 4:30 PM. Limited VIP seating is available for $65 and general admission is $35. Tickets are available HERE.
About Peppermint: Peppermint was launched in 2010 by designer, Tanvi Asher, as a small collection created in her home studio. With a desire to start a young contemporary collection at an affordable price point, the brand has since expanded to offer a full collection of women’s sportswear featuring dresses, skirts, tops, knits and outerwear. Inspired by vintage fashion, the designs are modern and feminine silhouettes created in contemporary prints.
