Tell us your name, age and what you do.
I'm Stephanie Christensen, 29, co-owner of Just Browsing: a boutique style brow shop to service each client's particular eyebrow needs offering brow sculpting and brow microblading as well as providing a unique and exclusive collection of women's clothing. It's our goal to create personal brow and shopping experiences tailored specifically to each client, encouraging a sense of confidence they will carry with them beyond our boutique.

Give us a little of your history/background.
I grew up and graduated high school in Fairport NY then received my bachelors degree from Nazareth College in Art Education. I worked part time at Brow Diva as I finished school and quickly decided I was gonna give brow sculpting a shot. I've been sculpting and perfecting brows for the last 6 years. I created a hobby for myself with my fashion blog, "irocpolkadots." I began it initially for myself; to build a visual style diary and enjoy the trials and errors of my own wardrobe creations. It steadily grew into a more thoughtful commentary of my personal style tips and random fashion theories.

Tell us more about what you do.
I love mixing and matching prints as well as challenging myself to dabble in trends and different fashion elements that are typically out of my comfort zone, all while maintaining a common thread of classic style. I'm constantly scouring the internet shopping scene for unique designs, loud statement pieces and most importantly slim fit options and petite sizing. The older I get, the more important it is to me having items that really FIT my body. Each woman's body is so different and a good fit makes ALL the difference. Even having a trusted seamstress on hand is a LIFE CHANGER. I'm happy to share my spin on personal style with the women of Rochester and I'm thrilled if even one post inspires another woman to think about their own personal style or take pride in using their own wardrobe to express themselves.

The physical space of Just Browsing will be welcoming and inspiring. Giving each client EXACTLY what they desire for their brows is the goal. I welcome particular clients because I myself am a particular client. I understand and appreciate the importance of attention to detail and specifics in what one client wants verses another. Each set of brows is different and unique and must be cared for in that very same way. I also hope to bring an artistic approach to the microblading technique. I want to provide an alternative to the trending extra bold brows we've been seeing. In my opinion, keeping the permanent makeup natural and subtle provides the most balanced look for one's face.

What are your favorite things about Rochester?
The food. I hate to sound predictable but the restaurant scene really is so important to me. A few of my favorite hidden gems are right around the corner from our home, including Atlas Eats, Pasta Villa and Tapas 177. If I'm not sleeping or working, I'm probably thinking about my next meal. Not much gives me true joy like enjoying a killer meal with my favorite people.
